Brian has always wanted a dog and we have been talking about it since he got to Baltimore this fall. Being at the house we have a lot of land for a dog and not to mention my parents are so close by with their two dogs as well, so I told Brian eventually we could get a puppy.
I just didn’t know that eventually really meant in 6 weeks! Yes, as of Friday evening this guy will be joining the family…
An 8 week-old purebred boxer puppy!
Ekkkk!!! Who would have thought our little family would start growing so soon?!
Lunch
Lunch today was leftovers from the awesome General Tso’s chicken we had for dinner on Monday night.
Heated up over leftover wild rice with extra sauce drizzled on top…yum-my! Some pita chips and hummus and strawberries also were part of the meal but somehow managed to make it into my mouth before getting photographed. Whoops.
Question:
Do you have any pets? Did you bring them into your current relationship or did you and your significant other take them in together?

He’s cute! One of my dogs is a boxer mix. He’s a great dog to run with!
Ryan and I each had a dog when we started dating so we have a combined family. 😉 Walter is a pit bull and Chase is the boxer, who is also mixed with greyhound. Currently we are also fostering a third dog, a pit mix named Carl. Yes, my house is insane but I love my pups!

Yay! I’m so excited to run with him when he is bigger!! You guys still have Carl? Any luck on possible homes for him?

can I steal him?!?! I really, really want a dog, but my apartment is just too tiny and combined with being at work all day – I’d feel bad keeping them cooped up!

Yea if we were still in the apartment there would be no getting a dog for us…especially not a boxer!
